Depicted here wealth is pouring out of one of her hands. The carving is made from the highly sought after Sheesham wood. The depth of the carving is a function of the artists abilities and showcases his expert level of craftmanship. The sculpture can be viewed from any side as the artist has worked on all sides and left no part without detailing. The Mother Goddess fosters creation. She brings us peace and is highly auspicious. This sculpture was made by the artist Sunil Khanna in his studio in New Delhi, Delhi. Due to the handcrafted nature of this sculpture, it cannot be replaced.

This necklace comes from a private collection with the necklace estimated to have been originally acquired in the 1970s from a trip to Bombay, Maharashtra.
